Jillian, known as ‘Jill’ has enjoyed a varied career - so far!!

Following her stint as a Stewardess in WRAF, Jill joined the Careers Service engaging with schools organising and advising on their Careers Libraries.

Jill was then head-hunted into the Open Learning Unit as the Information & Marketing Officer. The newly established unit was part of an FE College, which soon gained national recognition for best practice driven by some exceptional colleagues. Jill loved being at the forefront of learning innovation. She designed and delivered the first 'fully costed' commercial project for Weymouth College. She is credited with launching their first 'Women Returners' programme and the Dorset Open Learning Network.

When Jill relocated to London she was approached to join The Open College, which was a well-funded collaboration with Channel 4 and Michael Grade (The OU had BB2).  Her role as Programme Manager for the tailored corporate training enhanced her ability to recognise effective training delivery, build long-lasting client relationships whilst gaining the respect of her SMT, Trainers and her peers.

Jill's personal journey has taken her to the other side of the world where she spent time as an internal HR Consultant working with ‘C’ level Executives on competencies and succession, whilst contributing to a world-class Australian "Learning Organisation" Lend Lease.    Returning to Scotland, Jill worked for Scottish Enterprise - supporting local business with research and start-up advice.

Jill was headhunted down to London to manage Kennedy Scott Ltd.  Reporting to the the CEO, and managing 10 training sites and 65 staff, Jill soon adapted to the world of government tendering and 'return to work' training.

More recently, Jill enjoyed the freedom of being an Associate with Blue Eskimo whilst fulfilling family commitments. She is proud to hold a PG Management Diploma from the Nottingham University Business School and has Chartered MCIPD status.

She is sociable (Sunshine Yellow in Insights speak), has travelled extensively, but loves being back home in Scotland.

A note from Jill:

“I’m truly blessed being part of this exciting venture and together with my Board of Advisors, Associates and Partners, we are building something Special"
